Cloves Whole

Cloves Whole
What is your interpretation of a clove of garlic ?

Also, is freshly picked less potent than the dried stuff ?
I’ve seen the fresh stuff just cut in half and added to dishes, but don’t want to create a snogging ban.
So is a clove the whole thing, or just a pod ?
I only asked as I prepped a lasagne for about ten people using 2kg of mince, but used two whole garlic “bulbs” and a couple of onions.
Whoops.

One clove comes off a bulb of garlic. A bulb is the whole thing and will keep more than vampires away.
Cat’s will faint.Dogs will howl.Hamsters will keel over and die…Don’t do it,unless you have enemies for round for dinner.
