Green Ointment
One of my dogs eyes is green?
I have a maltese x shitzu and i recently had to take him to the vet as his eye was all swollen, they said that he had just scratched his eyeball on something outside (a stick or something) they gave me, eyedrops, ointment, oral medicene for him but ever since that trip to the vet his eye has been green?!? it’s always green and glowing i cannot see his pupil, is this just because of the ointment? or is something wrong?
Are you sure that it is not residue from the fluorescein eyedrops that they use to diagnose corneal lesions? The dye is florescent green and settles in corneal ulcers and other irregularities in the surface. How long ago did this happen, it can sit in there for a day or two then drains through the nasolacrimal duct turning their snot florescent green.
