What seasoning would you recommend for this crock pot meal?
Sausage, red beans, and potatoes.
My friend told me she used that, some seasonings, and water to make it.
Which to me water would just make it blah….could I use like beef broth with water or something?
Yes I think things spicy….just can’t be like really spicy because I have kids eating it too. (4year old and 1 year old)
oh yes, anytime you use beef broth, chicken broth instead of water, it will taste much much better. salt and pepper of course..do you like things spicy? you could add a little cayenne , a little cumin, and coriander..a couple cloves of garlic is always good in any crock pot meal…a good seasoning is “old bay”..that has a mixture of seasonings that go well with almost any type of food.
